    i am sure

the 10' sections are looped and i keep them oiled as they have innercore. the oil is what rubbed me. no sewage as i hose them off when i finish.

you don't want a 1.25'' innercore sectional walking up your arm

Be careful, Steve. We want you around for a while

When you do it enough you get use to it.Then you drop your guard. Then...well you know. It's just like working around $hit daily. After awhile it no longer stinks and it's no big deal, then you drop your guard and your sicker then a dog.

I use to spend 40hrs out of a 60hr work week in the hole. After a while working anywhere from 5' to 20' deep becomes the norm and you forget the dangers involved.

              Or bit by a snake

I wonder how many home owners get bit when renting

I'm very glad that All Clear had his jeans on. Think of that in the summer and bare legs when you wear shorts. A whipping with a cable can take a chunk out of you like if a large dog really took a hard bite.

I wish you all the best on recovery. No doubt in my mind that had to some kind of hurt.

Steve, put Arnica on it. You can't put it on an open wound, but you can put it all around it. You will be amazed at what it does to a bruise.

Rick use to make fun of me and swear I had stock in the company. Then I found a half used tube of it in his truck

Re: You really think you had a bad day when?????

I just got home from an emergency shower-valve replacement, (another DIYer twisted his Delta valve) and I see I missed a good thread.

Today, I installed the new pig-tail, 100' of 3/4" IC cable, and a new leader on my k-7500. I oiled it up and loaded it in the truck, I took the K-60 off and I will be running the K-7500 exclusively for awhile and seeign how they compare.

And then I see this thread!!! Man, now I am having doubts. I should have never bought a sewer drum, I should have just played it safe with the k-60. Just kidding. I will be careful with the K-7500 though, they can bite...hard. Glad you didn't get hurt Steve...and yeah, use shoring next time you trench that deep. You could have been buried.

carl, do you have a ramp, lift or a lot of floor space to roll the 7500 onto your van?

that drum is much heavier to lift than the k-60.

i use to use a hydraulic lifting arm to lift it into my van.

of course a dedicated loading ramp is the way to go. problem is it takes up good floor space.

be interested to hear your experience.

                          rick.

Rick, I will be getting a hydraulic lift for it. Where should I look to get one installed? For now, I am using the flip-up stair-climber and my hyooge musckles.

Rick bought his at Harbor Freight and bolted it into the frame himself.

Hey Mr. I go both ways, why not keep both on the truck for a while?
