  • You really think you had a bad day when?????

A 3/4 I/C cable kicks the crap out of ya!
I thought my leg was a gone but it hurt to much to be MIA.

Dropped off in to a 4` Concrete hi-flow main line and doubled back on me

I had a a scare moment as well today... 5/8" drop head screwed itself into something that would not let go I spent about 15 minutes working the cable and talking to the sewer gods...lol

It came out with the advice to the homeowner of line replacement.

This customer has had trouble with the same line last year ( Washing machine B/U) so they decided to dump it into the yard via hard sided pump suction hose... Gotta love living in the country!

          ace,

when your leg got hit, did it hurt right away??

          just kidding.

it goes to show that sh!t can happen just that quick.

          Vince

just curious, how far down are the sewer mains?

I was once told of a guy that bypassed his air switch on a sectional and was even more stupider() to get into a crawl space with it.
I guess it didn't work out too well for him.

ALL CLEAR. I have been GUILTY of it myself MANY times, just a reminder, No trench box, No shelving, and spoils pile too close. It can happen as quick as kinking a snake. As my boss said to me many times "how many kids do you have? I don't want to be the one to make THAT call".

so you want me to be the bad guy

a sectional stops in a heart beat. a drum keeps going and going and going.

i guess i'm guilty too as joey asked if i showered tonight

                    why?

my forearm had sewer cable whip on it. it happened while carrying 30' of sectional cable to a ruff stoppage.

                    rick.

This isn't a shot at Steve, but it just amazes me why people put their life in danger, especially when one is getting paid pretty well to do the job.

Be careful, Steve. We want you around for a while

I'm not rubbing it in. Joey... I was actually teasing someone else actually the someone who posted already after my initial post .

Steve, I really am glad this turned out to just be a painful whack instead of a bad injury. Its one of those things you look back and and cringe .

I've had a cable snap right in front of me before....long time ago though...it was predictable when it happened as well.
