Currently what I have on my truck:

I use 3/8" IC cable in drains of 2" to 3".(k-380/400)
I use 3/4" IC cable in drains 4"+.(k-7500)

I'm almost the same except I run a 7/8" open wind sectional on the 4"

I sense a sectional vs. Drum discussion is about to start...

In the 7500 I use the 3/4" I tried the 5/8" and it would brake or the head would come off in the line. On the 3800 I use the 1/2" but the 3/8" works better in older trailers with lots of bends the new trailers the 1/2" works good. In anything 2" or bigger I use the 3/4" anything smaller gets the 1/2" except bathtubs I use 5/16" on them. The only time I use a smaller cable on a 3"or bigger pipe is if it is free standing so I don't knock it apart then I go for a 5/8" sec. or the 1/2"

For the most part I use 5/8" on 1 1/2" and 2" (K-50), 3/4" or 7/8" for 3" and 4" (K-60 or Quadraplex) and 1 1/4" for anything larger (K-500, KM-1500). Of course this is all dependent on conditions at the site.

On the K-7500 I will only use 3/4 I/C Ridgid cable. I tried other cable and found myself using the Ridgid cable as the others just cant and wont hold up to the K-7500.

All Clear, I've welded up many adapters to allow my guys to use the Marco snap lock technology.
