  • Drain/Sewer Cleaning Class 101

I am going to do a class on Sewer / Drain Cleaning at the request of a forum member. This class is open to anyone who wants to learn some of the "do`s and don'ts".

This will be a 2 day class 12-22 and 12-23.
We will cover some of the basics and if time allows, maybe some advanced training in Video Inspections and Locating.

This class will be for those that want to learn a new trade or better their skills.
Class limited to 4 people. If this works out I will do other classes later on next year.

    2 Day Class is $500.00

There really needs to be a place that offers this. I know Spartan used to do this years ago but if I know Spartan, it was to further promote their products as well.

When I was selling for them I had several customers ask if they were going to do it again.

I believe that everyone who is a drain cleaner should attend the Ridgid Roundup. I know the guy I brought along learned a lot by running the various pieces of equipment. Even though it was for a short time he said it still helped him.

Plus, Rick schooled us all, so I know everyone there got a little lesson. Some more than others but I wont name any names. You're the man Rick. Team Geritol will be looking to hang on to the championship title next year. Its going to be interesting to say the least.

Good for you All Clear for helping this fellow forum member out. Make sure he know lots about drums!

He`s gonna learn how to play the drum like a true Champion.

I would show em the sectionals but he said he wants to learn this trade to make money

It seems we have hijacked Steve's thread so I may do some moderating in a bit.

Constructive critism; Are you going to be offering hands on sectional training? If not then your prices need to be cut in half.

I don't know why you couldn't have a class on drum machines only. I think in practice the idea is somewhat limiting but that's just my personal opinion. A drain cleaning class needs to be a lot more than just the machines you are using.

I assume you will be covering jetting, video-inspection, etc. Not just cable machines. Right?

Does this mean you got your jetter working? I bet that is a big relief.

There is a new technological advance I think you may enjoy. It's called the internet.
