I'm still waiting to hear how your first camera job went. Ya had a great tutorial from Rick on Santa Monica Blvd (or was it another famous blvd) the other day so ya should handled it like a champ.

                        Re: Rash!

I get one from this one restaraunt kitchen. I do a line where tha access is under a dish pit right next to the pails of chems they inject. I think it's the bleach does it to me as it's some pretty hot bleach. Benadryl for a few days every time I have to do that one.
This is my reminder to myself that no good will ever come from discussing politics or religion with anyone, ever.

                          Re: Rash!

The rash could be a lot of things, such as an allergic reaction. I get a rash when I brush up against shrubbery. It could have been a bacterial infection, but washing and your immune system did the trick.

I would question where you arm has been. Did you rub it against a cable or machine? Did you rub it against something where you were working?

One of the things that always gives me a rash is hand cleaners that are kerosine based, such as Go-Jo. I'm very sensitive to any petroleum based products, and sadly, that includes personal lubes.

Now, a rash on the legs is common, too, particularly in cold weather. I've seen people who have one and can't figure out why. If you bathe in overly warm water (like I do), it is probably scalding. That part of your body is particularly sensitive to the hot water because you wear socks that cover your calf and dry out the oils. A symptom is an itch that you can't avoid scratching. One solution is to avoid the hot water and just shower. Another is to use something like Curel on it every time you bathe.

The old mystery rash. Yep, had it twice. Both times were from acid, atleast that is what I tell myself over and over.

                              Well that's it then.
The jury has returned a verdict of...

"Assault by acid With intent to do harm"

                              I never imagined.
                              Thanks Guys
I'm glad I experienced this early in the game/year.This one just snuck up on me.

                              Herk,
I was informed by Mark that a lot of guys will snap their camera push cables by pushing too tight of an arc between the reel and cleanout
(the only one I could see doing this would be a narcissistic gorilla of an employee).
So this particular setup had me positioned to where the push cable was brushing against my forearm trying to weave it back and forth through the pipe.
