  • Burrs inside 4" cast iron

Is there a way to get rid of burrs or rough spots inside cast iron pipe? I Have a Ridgid 1500. Is there a cable end that will do what I need.

I know that they have a chain knocker end for the 7/8" cable, they should make one for your 1-1/8".

Will the chain knocker crack the cast iron? This building is about 40 to 50 yrs. old. The cast may be brittle.

If the burr is just a buildup on the pipe not a actual burr in the iron itself, then yes! A camera to locate the spot and a chain knocker or maybe just a cutter head to eat away at the problem.
