  • A great catch!

I know you guys like pics. This is a sewer that the h/o has snaked out every year but he was able to make it 2yrs this time (lucky me). I started with a four blade cutter to punch a hole and get some flow. My last pass was with a spiral root saw! I then tried selling rootx, he said he would go to the store and buy the cheaper stuff. I told him Good Luck!

    Re: A great catch!

    is that a k-60/ 7/8'' innercore cable?

please tell me it's a ridgid cable.

i use my ridgid 7/8'' innercore cable for lines to 6'' with roots.

it's got a plastic core that keeps the cable from kinking.

i've been using it for a strong year and have not had any issues or kinks.

order the "c-10ic" cable. the "ic" stands for inner core

    you can't go wrong

the machine is the k-60. My first cable is always the inner core made buy General. Then i go to the ridgid 7/8 open wind cables.

i do the same with the first cable too.

but i use the ridgid c-10ic / innercore. it's a nice snug fit inside the coils and prevents any kinking. since it's a plastic/ nylon material. there is no rust or oil issues to deal with. you still have basically the same outer cable as the c-10.

for those that need to tackle big roots with a k-60 or k-75, try the c-10ic cable. you've seen what i've pulled back in the past
