It is a backsaver. This one is a Vestil, and was fairly pricey. I had to pay for the unit and I had it professionally installed along with a brake-powered trailer hitch.
Big bucks, but worth it. I will be using the brake-powered trailer hitch for pulling a jetter soon.
Looks good. It is the exact same one i have in my truck.i got a better price from ww grainger than i got from vestil.where it pivots on the upright post i drilled and put in 2 grease zerks. It made it a lot easier to swing my tool cart into the truck, without binding pipe on pipe.in 3 years it gets used 4 or 5 times a week, a real backsaver.
I just hump the thing in and out, but I'm starting to notice it's getting heavier lately. Some days my body likes the work, some days it doesn't. Part of me feels like if I quit doing it, I won't be able to. Part of me knows if I keep doing it I'll injure myself eventually. Nice crane. Nice clean install.
