  • Flushing water lines

After rodding out a drain or even plunging it, is it best to flush the lines with cold water or hot water? I can see the benefits of each but was wondering what works best from your experience. Thanks!!

cold for sure. cold will keep it from sticking and is plentiful. hot is very limited in volume.

I always try and run as much water (Cold) as possible after I unclog a drain, doesnt matter what drain lateral, sink, tub ,whateve rit is, I want to be sure its not going to back up when im 3 blocks down the road. plus the customer feels better when they can visually see theyre drain is working
