gary, i'm assuming you're in beirut, lebanon. does it translate over to an english/ american term or is there a large english speaking population you're marketing for
this might really require me to go there and get a feel for what you're up against
drain away, comes to mind.
or you can focus on jetting. drain jet
how about something generic. clean drains, clear drains
see i told you i need to get a feel for your location.
is there a lot of competition where your at?
how about just using your name? garys drain cleaning
its worked for me
yes im from lebanon its next to israel north of it actually on the mediterranean coast and as big as Massachusetts maybe
yes most people speak english here as a second or third language but i doubt anyone knows what the words "drain" or "clog" mean, they're not used much in everyday talk.
however everyone knows what "pipe" means but its too broad of a term and i don't like it myself. "Pipe cleaner" sounds not so right IMO
Competition? Well there is only one drain cleaning company around with one van that serves about 4 million people! hehe well definitly not all of them!
My luck! if i were to do a SWOT analysis, i'd think of it as my strength and opportunity! my weakness and threats nonetheless would be that it's a new technique just being introduced here and very few people know or have ever heard of it..
in fact they are still used having it done the old way by calling their plumber who will appear on scene with nothing in hand except a twisted metal rod, that's if he's lucky enough, or a piece of water hose he'll push inside the drain
clean drains or clear drains describe the company very well as you said but they're difficult to spell.
I also think the words clean, master, care, etc are all a bit exhausted and there are many service firms such as carpet and house cleaning companies that use them as well.
I'm looking for something new, easy to spell and remember and generic at the same time! such as Drain Aid, only too bad it's already taken here
but it can't be so hard to find smthg as nice or even nicer than it, no?
my only constraint is time, i'm starting in 3 weeks now and i still need to prepare for all that adverstising stuff (visit cards, fliers, yellow page, commercial magazine, web card and a decent website)
My god, i'm off for a beer! shall help me think this all through in peace!
you're welcome to join me! would be a long trip tho!
Uhh, gonna go out on a limb....Beirut Sewer & Drain
or you could get smart and call it BS Drain Service.
Not sure how that translates into Arabic but I understand English is one of the secondary languages over there so that might not fly.
Cool name actually! but i might as well do some drain jobs out of beirut after all im almost on my own here feels like i'll be the King of my castle!
Hope i'll be able to offer my customers good and satisfying services too.
I had a 2 months training in europe and bought the best rodding machine on planet!! Folks.. I proudly introduce the RAK40! it almost cost me a fortune!
yet speaking about experience which is what matters most I believe, i lack waaaaaaay behind you guys.. but hey im still young and eager to learn from you!!
