  • If you had

I was reading through one of my cleaner magazines and i got to thinking IF YOU HAD $20,000 JUST GIVEN TO YOU WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT? I was thinking of machines i could buy that would make me money, pay off my van, get an employee, go to vegas. Mainly i want to know how could you turn that into more money?

I would have to say buy a jetter, I purchased a cart jetter 6 months ago (4.5gpm @3700 psi) and it has already paid for itself and i bought a small electric 2 months ago (1.5gpm @1700psi) and it to has paid for its self.

first thing you need to do is pay off the debt. pay off the credit card balances, anything with high interest rates you want to eliminate.

        stay off of ebay

last week was expensive, but worth it

Exactly what Rick said but also invest that money into an IRA. Let it work for you.

Have any of you been to the outdoor store or hardware stores there is little to no amo on the shelves and a lot of them have waiting lists. I would buy ammunition in bulk to get cheaper prices and then resell it and double my money. Then buy lots and lots of tools

A 20k lump sum put into an IRA and you'd be able to retire at 60 easy.

That is actually smart if your out of dept. I listen to this guy on the radio all the time his name is Dave Ramsey I like his program it makes a lot of sense and the steps you go through. He says to build a small savings account, pay off all dept and cut up the credit card and use a debit card so that you don't spend what you don't have. Then save four to six months of what it would cost for you to live on or run your business in case you get hurt, laid off or have an emergency. Then you invest, there are several different types of IRA's but if your saving for retirement they have ones specifically for that where you can put your money into it like a 401k where it is tax free. Downside is that there are penalties if you ever have to dip into it and that is where that four to six months comes in handy so you don't have to do that.

$20k?... I'd hire some talent and take her on a vacation.
