The chicken almost got away there at the end. Then it was sucked back in to be pulverized...pretty cool

        Re: Video

you should see what a jetter does to a gloved finger

feels like an intense burn problem is it's water and not fire.

you think that was impressive with a warthog.

        try a root ranger

that bird would have been flying in orbit in a matter of seconds.

imagine all the flow and pressure from just 1 jet orifice. sure you can get a front jet to help with a solid blockage, but the real power is all in the rear.

the root ranger will eat the warthog for lunch.

        how do i know

i own both the 3/8'' and 1/2'' warthogs

and the 1/4'' and 1/2'' root rangers.

i'll see if i can figure out how to take and post video of the job. if not stills are pretty impressive too.

what size bird will fit into an 8'' line

I am more impressed by the WartHog. You might change my mind though by duplicating the chicken/cabbage test exactly and showing better performance.

                            Re: Video

the new root rangers are drilled for a forward nozzle.

when you have a solid stoppage, you need to penetrate the stoppage to allow the rear jet to blast. unless there is a real solid blockage, you don't need or want a front jet.

anytime you have a front jet, you take away from the pulling power of the jet.

i routinely plug my warthog front jet.

there is no comparison of the warthog rear jet and rootranger rear jet.

the warthog is more of a helicopter spray and the rootranger is more of a jet engine.

when you have the entire blast coming out of 1 rear jet compared to 2 jets coming out the sides, the rear one is more aggressive and has much more pulling power.

i don't have any clear pipe to show the test, but i do have plenty of cameras to show the internal action of the jet.

next week i'll have a large complex with plenty of mains to toy with.

                            rick.
