  • hot water jetter

I used my hot water jetter today to clean kitchen stacks at an apartment building. I had the unit on the ground, and used a 150' jumper hose to the independant hose reeler. The hot water cleaned the pipes beautifully. I know most do not use hot water to clean, but for this type of application it seems to work perfect. I did the main line too. I put the camera down and the pipes look great.

    Re: hot water jetter

but why hot water? I guess I could see it on a frozen line, but definitely not for grease.

the hot water cools further down stream and the grease congeals, cold water breaks the grease into chunks and lets them float away.
No, it's not rocket science, it's plumbing and unlike rocket science it requires a license.

But when i clean a kitchen drain i like hot soapy water..
If the cable comes out clean and smells good the line must be clean
