      lol....

      It`s a 1977
We sent it off for the rebuild but had to redo everything when we got it back home to our shop.

If you want something done right, you just have to do it yourself

I`d post pictures of the work they did but it would just make you

It looks really good. I remember the way it looked before you started. Took time but will save you tons over a turn key rig.

Remember the pics. of my Pops old ride?

(Can't find them to post again. )

              Hey Gene
Dont take anything to Oklahoma to get built or it might turn out like this.

              and the tank

              The wheels

And the welding or lack of welding on the inside of the tank

All this Sh%^& work for the low price of $12,000.00

The pumper looks great now though.

I have a buddy who builds hydro excavation rigs (trailers and trucks) so I see all kinds of crazy stuff come through his fab shop to get fixed. I gotta see if he has pictures of some of the hack jobs he has fixed.

OMFG! I've seen Orange Peel but what the he!!? Did children sponge paint it the first go 'round?

What kind of pump are you using?

                      Thanks.

Charging less does not mean more call volume it just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.

Re: Rebuilt my old pump truck

Even with the extra expense of someones shoddy work, you'll be way ahead of buying new and with a '77 you don't have a bunch of damn computers to give you fits. It looks good! I wish I'd fixed up an old truck. The company that I bought mine from evidently doesn't know what primer is. They had to pay to repaint my tool boxes, now all the paint on the side of the bedrails and around the manway on top is rusting away. Pisses me off.

Do you carry any drain machines on the truck with you?

                            Trent
I just bought a K-60 for the pump truck. We use the K7500`s on the drain side but I thought a K-60 would be the one to use with the truck.

JC it`s a Moro ag pump. It has a gear drive built on to the front of the pump. They use these pumps for trailer spreaders. Pumps really fast, I can pump 1500 gal in about 5 minutes.

Wait till I post a picture of the wiring
                            Your gonna crap....lol

gotta go install a water main today so I`ll post it when I get back sonetime after lunch.
