Just to confirm, you think it's a good option to consider?

    Thanks.

I used it in a high rise in Chicago did 60 sink lines 50' each on one full charged battery. It worked really well for me till the connectors for the battery wore out. I think they should look into having a power supply that goes into the battery compartment so you can run A/C when you have A/C available.

What do you think the machine can handle in it's maximum performance?

3" light to medium clogs maybe?

      Thanks.

        Re: Best Drum Machine?

I also have a problem with my k7500 and 3/4" cable, it's a pain to get the last 8' or so in the drum, I've had that trouble since day one. It's the only thing I don't like about the machine. Otherwise I like it just fine.

I went over to 5/8", but it's just to light for me, and I feel like I'm taking a lot of extra time babying 5/8" on a tough root stoppage.

I actually just ordered 11/16" with spartan type ends, which will be delivered tomorrow for my k7500, which I have a feeling will be perfect for the machine, and a few ounces lighter per foot than 3/4", and I know 11/16" will be heavy enough to abuse a little. I'll have to use a 3/4" ridgid pigtail or weld an eyelet up to the 11/16", is the only drawback.

I thought about using .66 mag, but I dislike IC cable, and it's expensive.

Otherwise I was raised on a spartan 1065 and can't imagine a tougher machine, the problem with spartan is I can't go down town and buy any any part I need for the equipment, rather I have to get it shipped or wait for the rep to call back and then eventually get to me. Ridgid knows there stuff when it comes to distribution and support, that's why I chose a Ridgid this time.

I was doing some real tight corrosion blockages in the 2" lines and I also used it on the underground 4" sink lines works good.

            Re: Best Drum Machine?

I ended up adding a 1065 to the arsenal today.

I'll let you guys know how I like it. Tested the powerfeed and WOW is that thing smooth compared to my old school style General on my Sewermatic. Also came with the old original "bar" style powerfeed. This machine is built like a tank

Came with about 120' of .66 Magnum. So I'm sticking with that for now. Going to take it out Monday on a few jobs and see how it goes.

Thanks again for the input guys,

            -Chris

Did it come with the old black motor or the newer silver motor? Maybe even the new quite motor? which I have never used yet.

Silver. Not sure if it's the quiet motor, though it is pretty quiet. I'll post some pics soon.

What I though was silver was just the aluminum showing through where the black paint had chipped away. It's the old motor (probably original). How do the 2 compare?

Not much different. Marv has both styles in stock.

From the pic it is the old black motor it may be the original lamb motor if there is a bump on the front motor housing behind the gear case it is not a lamb. The lamb motor had a green wire going to the reverse switch and green is not ground marvin

Now that is impressive. I just did the math, unless I am mistaken, to hit just a million miles of cable run, you would have to snake eight 100' mains per day, 365 days per year (did not figure in leap years) for 18,082 years.

Just imagine how many years it would have taken him if he were running a sectional.
