  • Jetter Hose

Just had a large account require a electric jetter to use inside of building instead of set up outside and run hose into building for remote reel. They had a incident at another location involving the hose as a trip hazard for a customer. They know that some jobs cannot be handled by small jetter but will deal with them on a case by case basis. Any thoughts on this matter or safety sugestions to preform the task better are welcome.

    Re: Jetter Hose

unless you're only doing 2'' and smaller lines, a 2h.p. 1500# 2.1gpm jetter is going to be very, very slow.

now if they have 220 available and a 5 h.p. motor, then you're looking good

it would be better to permanently install a high pressure jumper hose in the building above all the trip hazards and keep it there for future use

    phoebe it is

Use a cord protector from an office supply. The kind that's tapered on both sides.

The jumper hose is a good idea. The largest portion of work is freezer and display case drains (Snot and food waste) so the electric is not a real problem. Rick what brand of braided jacket hose do you prefer?
