  • Trailer jetter vs Cart jetter

I'm would like to buy a trailer mounted jetter but they are too expensive.
I was looking some adds on the internet for a 4000 psi cart jetter. My question is: Will this cart 4000 psi jetter do the same work than a trailer mounted 4000 psi jetter?

Cart jetters can not give you the GPM of a trailer jetter. With out enough GPM you will not flush the line.

      No...

It is all about GPM... The larger lines require Higher GPM

There are tons of threads on this subject so read up (search jetters)

We need to know what size you will be doing with this jetter, 4000psi is 4000psi, GPM is the flush, a cart can do 5GPM off a hose bib if you need more GPM then you need reserve water in a tank. That's what makes your choice.

          all great info.

post your needs and we will steer you in the right direction.

a cart jetter with the right nozzle will cut roots, but not typically as fast as a trailer jetter will. 13 hp. carts will handle 4'' and some larger still portable up to 6'' or 8''. but those get heavy to load and move.

picture a garden hose versus the fire hose

both will put out a fire, but the fire hose will do it faster and easier. problem is you need the fire truck in tow.

tell us more and read the hundreds of threads to get all the good info. plus the pictures are a help too

Put a tank and cart in a van. You cant pump more water than you can supply.
