For all you who may be curious we are talking about the O2WA Trade show and Classes for contractors and pumpers. It's a local event that happens once a year..... I can't make it.

Okay Dan I have a question for you.
I use RootX with great success but I came to a job yesterday that RootX will be great on except that the root intrusion is 40 metres from the nearest toilet or inspection opening.
My question is do you have any suggestions how you could use a lesser amount of Rootx or you would need to put enough rootx down to do 45 metres of sewer line.

            Thank you

            Simon

Your making me think I work in feet or yards here... So that would be about 148 ft. Your not going to be able to apply it through a toilet that's to much product to make it down. By "inspection opening" you mean co right? I would treat the whole line and not just spot treat. So six lbs of RootX applied by vent, commode flange, or clean out. Unless you want a geyser of foam please don't put six lbs in the toilet.

It wasn't our fault. It was a municipality that did the application and so they where using 20lb bags well they put 40 lbs in on one application. Apparently the foam will start coming out of man holes
