1/4" Warthog nozzle?

I know this has been asked before but is anyone ready to give a review on the new smaller warthog?

I have seen one but not yet tried one out.

My 3/8" Warthog will get stuck/stopped in 90mm storm water lines easily if there is dammage by squashing in the pipe.

Also due to its size it doesn't like getting pulled back through 90mm x 90 deg. bends.

Im thinking the smaller one might be the trick in these situations.

I have asked the same question about the 1/4" warthog. It seems as if no one has ever used it

I thought for sure RICK would have two of them!. But i think he is a root ranger guy!

I posted a reply about this in a different thread. The nozzle I used was rated for 3000 PSI @ 5 gpm. It does not have the speed control like the other nozzles, so it spins as fast as the other spinner nozzles. The advantage this one has over the other spinners is the offset forward nozzle.

I used it on a grease line and it worked really well. It cleaned a 4" line in a few passes. I never did get to try it on a root blockage.

To be honest I am not sure. But since they do sell the large trailer jets and such I would be surprised if they did not.

I just ordered a Wv-1/4" from allan j coleman today. I will put it to work on thursday and let you know how it works!

My jetter specs are 13hp 4gpm @ 3600psi

I used it today on a 3" pvc sump pump line. It did a very good job, one pass and camera inspect, it look good!!

i just dont know if it did a better job than my $30 monster mole from aqua mole? It sounds really cool and the home owner was impressed with how it sounds.

Tommorow i have a 6" clay with roots to jet. It is rated for up to 4" , i will give it a test run first and if im not happy i will go to the root ranger!

I will post more info on how it preforms tommorow.

The one advantage it has over the aquamole is the front jet. Other than that it spins as fast as other spinners. That front jet is great in tight packed lines and even frozen lines.

i would be interested in the 1/4'' warthog. but plastic piping can be cleaned with a garden hose.

lets see cast or clay with roots.

the root ranger is the most agressive nozzle hands down.

Had Massive root growth in a 6" clay sewer today, tried the 1/4" warthog just for fun.............It did NOTHING to the roots!!

The Root ranger ripped them to shreds!!

The line has a "belly" we could not get that minor root blop out not even with a 4 X 6 expanding blade........we Threw some ROOTX at it!

very nice to be able to see before and after shots. the root ranger turns a jetter into a root eating monster.

good job. looks like a possible spot repair at a couple joints. is this in the street or private property?

It is in the street about 26 ft down! That is the main reason he had me jet the line someone ran 6" pvc to the curb and its old clay under the street.
