    Re: OK Ridgid...................

Outside clean out or nice ground level access nothing beats the drum and bucket
K60 will come in handy on these types of calls for me

Charging less does not mean more call volume it just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.

Worse less head room trap door opening in the house then had to crawl in around 20 feet. Only toilet was on 2nd floor! Had to run 8 foot sections of eel cable with drill boy that was fun.
Yes those too. Drum gets first call whenever possible. Do you have a helper or work alone? I work alone no help.

Why I'm getting into this is beyond me....... Rick I don't know how you guys can handle the fast RPM's of the k60? I have borrowed one enough times to know how bad it hurts my hand and wrist. I don't think I could handle using it for the few drains I clean a week. sometimes 3 a day sometimes 0 a day. Do I want a k60? heck yes. sometimes it would be the perfect tool. I think I might be better served by the right angle drill with 1.25" cable though.

Now the k 50 gives me no trouble with hand and wrist pain.

I also like to sit on a bucket and not on my knee's when working.

How many k-60's and cables can you buy for the cost of a hydraulic liftgate?

House I did today was a good 1/8 mile walk, up stones made to be stairs. Camera showed 17 feet out roots 4" line. Grabbed the k-60 and 1 section of cable and my rick's reverse auger cable which is 7 feet long. Humped it up the mountain to the house and yarded the root ball out. Point is I didn't have to bring a bunch of cable I didn't need when I knew how close it was. But that was the first part of the job for today. The line is 245 foot long run with cleanouts spaced at 125' I will be using my spartan 1065 for that one. Oh yea and my all clear bucket to sit on. See how used both there names in the same story

                        Hey..
I will take the -7500 over the K-60 any day. You can run the K-7500 blind folded, cant do that with the K-60. The sewers that we do here can take for ever to run with the K-60 it just dont get in there like the K-7500 does!!!!

Couldnt tell you as the lift gate came with the van....lol

Being how we use K-7500`s we save enough time we can afford a lift gate.

I myself dont like the van or the lift gate but Wayne does.
I like the truck and trailer better but thats just me

A K-60 with only 90` of cable will only get you call backs around here as most of our sewers are around 100 to 200` long.
Do that all in one trip

                              And...................
I`m calling BS as I see a picture with you and cable and another with you and the K-60
                              Thats 1 + 1 = 2 trips

Look Mom, I dont have a K-60 in my other hand

Look Mom, If I only had cable in my other hand
lets see you carry a k7500 up a ladder with both hands.

i carry the machine and cage to the house and then up the ladder 1 at a time.

the guy/ jason is a radio guy/ comedian who's house i was working at. so i gave him a 5 minute crash course on the k-60 and he managed to do a good job. even he's capable of carrying 90' of cable and the k-60.

your 7500 will barely hold 125' so you must be making a second trip to clean your 200' jobs too. i forgot, that's what your helper is for

                              rick.
