From what I found AJ Coleman is pretty fair on the prices. If you know where you can get it cheaper let them know. I bet they are willing to work with you.

I bet you cant get the feeder tube cheap from anyone and it`s one of those parts that Ridgid should redesign. I have a bender here at the shop for the race cars but I`m to lazy to make the feeder tube....lol
I might make one some day out of some .125 wall chromoly tubing and see how long it last.

                Yea, I see with a K-60 it`s much worse.
you really want to go there?

                  Re: OK Ridgid...................

yes but what you forget to mention is that k-60 was still running with just the 1 ball left in the bearing and all that was replaced was a $19.00 bearing. i also changed the clutch because i had it, it still ran 7/8'' cable but was too loose for 5/8''.

so a rebuild cost me $19.00 and less than 1 hour of total time. plus the bearing is available from most auto parts stores.

                    Well, well well Ricky
The K-7500 is still running as my helper is using it. I would hate to guess how many sewers it`s done in the last few years but I`m pretty sure it would be at least X`s 4 of how many your K-60 has done. I mean come on, the cable is showing through the feeder tube, thats a bunch of wear wouldnt you say?
As far as the brushes, I dont need them, just want to have them on hand.
If you had ran as much cable through your K-60 you would need a new hand and a new back. Boy it sure is nice to just set on a bucket and let the machine do all the work.
Ricky, you know whats funny? The K-60 is on the van and we do use it some but even my helper will tell you that he`d rather use a K-7500 on 99% or the jobs. So see, it`s not just me that sees that the K-60 is under powered and a pain in the a$$ to use. Theres noting like 2 trips to the van just to get a machine and 2 baskets of cable when you can just grab one machine and a bucket in one trip. Oh yea, what about packing back up, another 2 trips to the van. With that said you now made 2 more trips then you needed to. What about all that time sticking cables together? I`d rather have a smoke while setting on my bucket watching the machine feed the cable all by it`s self
But hey, I`m at least glad to see that you are now talking to me again

Its all preference because I have both K-7500 and K-60 and use them both and if you had a two wheeler you could get the K-60 in with 1 trip and not have 2 lug a 240lbs K-7500 down the stairs just my 2 cents

k-60, 90' of cable, a 50' cord and knee pad all in 1 trip.

even jason the comedian can stay clean on a hot roof.

A K-60 with only 90` of cable will only get you call backs around here as most of our sewers are around 100 to 200` long.
Do that all in one trip

                          And...................
I`m calling BS as I see a picture with you and cable and another with you and the K-60
                          Thats 1 + 1 = 2 trips

Look Mom, I dont have a K-60 in my other hand

Look Mom, If I only had cable in my other hand

Charging less does not mean more call volume it just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.
