I placed an order for a T-125 Retrieving Auger for our K-60 and the thing looks like a T-101 Straight Auger to me.. whats up with that?

I was thinking I was gonna get something like what was pictured in the Ridgid book. The picture in the book looked like a K-7500 Retrieving Auger.

        Re: K-60

the best auger and the one that doesn't break is not available for purchase

but you can easily make a rick reverse auger out of 1 of your cables

i even manged to clear a 7 year old basement root stoppage last week with it and didn't even see the buried backwater valve that i had to go through and come back it was able to thread its way back out

the trick is the coupler is 14' 6'' away from the cutting end. this takes all the stress away from the coupling and weld. running in reverse it cuts and auto feeds too.

maybe you'll change your thoughts about the k-60 once you have a rick reverse auger

Well looks like I`ll have to make one out of a K-7500 retrieval auger. I always cut the retrieval part off and use em as sludge buster augers.

You are exactly correct .Their T-125 retrieving auger is exactly like the T-101 straight auger..So like yourself I now have 2 T-101'S ..No difference what so ever..What gives???

I know this is an old post but all this reverse auger talk prompted me to find this...did u have success with cutting of the retrieval part ? Does it work well or did u come up with something else for a drum machine?

Works well, we do it all the time. Works well to remove cats from 4" sewers
