    Re: Johni bar....

You can make the nut rethread. Been to many where the threads are all jacked up for whatever reason. Could have been screwed up by the hacksaw & person cutting.

Just a tip I'm sure you all know:

You don't have to cut the bolt right against the tightened nut. there is space in that cap. If you leave it longer, years later you can grab it lightly at the top with needlenose, loosen the nut up your pliers, then grab the bolt under the nut as hard as you want to get the nut off. No need for the Johi Bar.

Some won't change though. Just keep cutting right against the nut.

I found a fantastic deal on one online. But he would NOT ship it no matter what.

What do you consder a good deal on a K-50? I have plenty of machines around here, could ask the old man how much he is willing to unload one.

I bought an ugly one on Craigslist for $100. Runs nice. Gunna clean her up and send it back out the door for a small profit.

I'm almost embarrassed to tell you Ron. But I will. I found one with the two sink drums in good condition (appearance wise-never heard it run) for $175.00.

Not stolen. No sectional cable. Perfect deal for me. But he only wanted to sell it locally. Wouldn't ship it.

Screw pitures I decided to make my 1st youtube video.

This video demonstrates that after I cut a closet bolt off with a sawzall...I can remove the nut and replace it using nothing but my fingers. Amazing.

                        And?

Where's the video of you doing the same after biting the bolt off with linesmans pliers?

I figured most people cut them off with a hacksaw or a sawzall. So thats what I used. If enough people ask for the linesman pliers bit I will make it.

That is a great price. To bad he would not ship. I am not sure if I could match that, I ask the old man how much he wants for one of the ones he has sitting here on the shelf. They all run great, he just been acquiring them over the years as other shops went out of business.

Thanks. Just PM me what you got. Might want, might not. No biggie. Just business.

Looking for one of the small drums aboard if possible.

                              Thanks again for any info.
