Long story short, I just got off the phone with Rothenberger USA and they told me they are selling the ROPUMP SUPER PLUS again. They say it's only available through them @ $199.00 plus shipping

I'm going to order one anyway since SewerRatz gave it his blessing

I am suprised Ridgid has not came out with a version of the RoPump Super.

Seems like they jacked the price up some, at one point in time it was selling for $125 or there abouts.

I guess I got the last one it was toolstop uk and it was $162. with shipping. I don't even have mine anymore my head journeyman liked it so much he stole it off my truck and I can't get it back as he hides it in his van.

I have lost a few to other plumbers that fell in love with it. Back then though I just call Marvin and had him ship me another.

When my dad first seen one of these many moons ago, they where selling for $300 each, then they came down to $200, then $125. So having them back at $200 for a tool that will pay for itself in no time is not all that bad.

Have any of the new RoPump owners used it on a water closet yet? I have had some water closet blockages that would not clear with an auger. So I put the long rubber on, set the RoPump in the bowl and fill the tube with water then make a seal and give it a big push. Another thing that you can do is leave it filled with air make a seal and do some quick back and forth pumps and you can feel and hear when the water closet opens.
