  • Fuel charges

I have been kicking around adding a fuel charge. 2-5%. This would more be for the pumper trucks. People seem to be doing it to me. Or just charge more to cover it. I hate to upset the herd.

    I can just hear

    Re: Fuel charges

My personal thoughts are just raise the price. If, by chance the fuel prices go back down, folks will expect you to drop a fuel surcharge fee. However, tires, maintenance, etc. will still be up so you will be losing money.

We are getting close to pulling the trigger on a price increase again. I don't intend on working for free.

Charging less does not mean more call volume it just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.
