I am looking to replace my 15 yr old marco, hand held drain cleaner (similar to k-45 w/ 1/4" cable).the k- 30 / k-40 looks good and I dont have to hold up the unit when under cabinets. anyone have a suggestion?

I hate hand helds... I absolutely love my electric eel ct. It runs 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8. I would only give it up for a K-50 with a drum attachment.

K-40 or Eel Model CT. I think the CT has a better core but the K-40 has a better feed.

Hand helds such as the K-39AF/K-45AF are not too bad. Using one without a power feed sucks

I own the K-40-B and love it. It has worked flawlessly for me.

At 24lbs it's also 12lbs lighter than the CT.

The K-39af got some bad reviews on the motor but I have 3 all working great after 2-3 years. And My guys thrash them and use the for mains (just kidding)
