  • What to wear

I really need to start wearing coveralls for work..I always wore insulated coveralls in the coldest days of winter during my days in new construction..Was nice to come outta those at the end of the day looking halfway clean..I have uninsulated coveralls I need to start wearing religously..Trashing way to many clothes..I was even thinking about disposable tyvek suits..Don't want to go around looking like a bio chemist though..I have been getting in the habit of wearing safety glasses and gloves as much as possible and always when snaking..Gotta learn to start suiting up like I'm going to war

Bet if we did wear those Tyvek suits with full face shield we could get $1000 bucks per basic sewer cleaning
I carry some for hospitals and morgues.

Charging less does not mean more call volume it just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.

snaking i stay relativly clean if not spotless. it's jetting that i get wet and dirty.

the tyvex works great with overhead drains. especially jetting overhead c/o's.

I wouldn't say I stay spotless but I don't get very dirty. Even on the coldest days here in Wisconsin I don't wear a coat unless the work is outside, I wear two sweatshirts. I have a bad habit of leaving it behind and sometimes finding a good clean place to hang it while working is an issue.

Wearing safety glasses is a good idea but I can't stand anything hanging on my face, glasses just bug they hell out of me.
