  • K-50 repair question

So my father told me today that his K-50 is giving him problems. He said he REALLY has to hold the handle down to get the cable to spin. What could be cause of that?

The closest place that repairs Ridgid drain machines is about an hour away from us, and I want to see if there is something we can order and fix ourselves to save us the drive.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the clutch is worn. That's the most common K-50 issue (and the only one that I've ever had to make). The rear assembly comes off with 2 hex-screws. Takes about 5 minutes to put a new one in.

      Thanks!

Is there a place online to buy repair parts for the K-50?

So when I open the back of the machine up, how many parts are going to come falling out?
