What do you guys think of the K750? Is this good for a main line machine? Roots? I currently use a K50 for most of my jobs but time to time i do get a call for a main with roots and have passed them up.

nothing wrong with a 750 as long as you're running the 3/4'' cable and not the 5/8'' cable.

ran 1 for several years and have 3 right now.

the 7500 is similar, but more commercial / heavy duty.

no. no hurry. it is resting nicely along with it's brother 1065 and cousins, 750,7500, and the generals.

don't get me started in trades. i still have a brand new table saw in the box, and my original one at my parents and my radial arm saw outside.

my bandsaw is at my shop.

not to mention all the other machines.

the 750 is a bigger main line machine over the 300 anyways.

Rick isn't going to let that 300 go anywhere. He knows it's the best power/weight drum machine on the market and has way too much love for it

There is a 300 for sale here that you might be interested in.

Can you use the 3/4 cable in 3" drains. I do a lot of 3" and 4" drains and was leaning to the 5/8 cable. but now im not so sure.

No, it's not rocket science, it's plumbing and unlike rocket science it requires a license.
