Make absolutely sure the problem is roots. Is this a pipe and rock type of drainfield? Is the problem in the drainfield (aka leach field), in the tank, or in the building sewer? If the problem is in the drainfield and the drainfield is made of perforated pipe, it may be sludge blocking the holes due to a lack of tank maintenance pumping. In that case your jetter can pull the sludge out of the line fairly quickly, something that is very difficult and time consuming to do with a cable. If it is in fact a root problem, treat it like you would any other root intrusion since RootX is not supposed to have any negative effects on the biological processes in a septic system.
