  • S is for sewer on our street curbs

Do You have curb markings in Your area ? I will add an outside clean out in a newer development. No curb markings I have a borzit drill set up. Decided it will be My EZ probe to find the cast Iron drain. Our laterals are 2 to 3 ft deep. My hand probe is tough to use in clay. No, don't have locator . Can drill a 2 , 3 , or 5" hole fast with the borzit and timberwolf drill.
I can build anything You want , if you draw a picture of it , on the back of a big enough check .

    yes, no and maybe.

HCS, chip in the curb, scribe mark, sometimes nothing
Usually, the county map is accurate if we are locating.

it is interesting how you come to know how the city built up by the different practices-materials.

In my city they are all marked with an S or W. In most neighboring cities it's a crapshoot.

S for the sewer. X for the water. Except when the cut in a driveway apron. Concrete Contractors never seem to re-stamp in the approach.
