    Talked to a retired plumber yesterday ... too funny ... Told him I just ordered a new carrier ...

    He said ... I just used a tire ...

          been using motorcycle tires for 50' of 1.25'' sectional for the last 4 years. they're pretty much free.

          cable carriers are $60.00 for the plastic ones and the metal cages vary based on size.

            Been using cages forever never used a tire. I like the cage for the handle and easy to hose off cable or spray with WD-40.

              I agree.

              The cable in the tires only gets used on longer runs. Love how they stack with the cages.
