Root Ranger question

Does anyone use the root ranger with 1/4" hose ?

My specs:13 HP @3750 psi x 3.7 gpm with 120' of 1/4"@4000 psi hose.

I have not used any psi gauges to test psi.

Yes I do for certain jobs when i already have the hose out. but the drawback is a big drop in pressure. Since the rr is designed for 3" and larger, a 3/8" hose is more desirable and efficient.
