How do you like it ?

How does it perform compared to the popular 1/2" Dewalt & Milwaukee ?

Looks like I'll be ordering one soon.

I love my Milwaukee 1660-6 but ran across the Ridgid and I'm liking the looks, features & weight

Doesn't hurt to also have a backup in case one should go down.

I sold my DW124 as it spun too slow & was too awkward for me

I'm curious about this discussion and how you run a cable with just a drill. I'm missing something. Please educate me.

            Thank you. John

Get your self a nice 1/2 drill and a elec. Eel adapter for there 1 1/4 cables. I would look for a drill with about 500 rpms. This will spin the cable into the line.

So we're talking sectional cables. Eel has an adapter that fits into a chuck? Do you have a link for a good place to purchase. I love this idea.

Thank you for turning me on to this concept. Any recommendations on cable lengths or diameter?
