  • If you were to buy one nozzle for your jetter....

Sorry if this has been explained a million times. My jetter specs are 4000psi and 18gpm.
Root ranger? Double RR? Warthog? I am curious.

I would buy a 1/2" warthog (maybe the new version dunno yet) not as aggressive as the RR but pretty close, I like the egg shape for pipe offsets and Y's. For Grease and mud it is great there also. And I based this if I could only buy one nozzle. I have Both so that is my opinion.

interesting question and a double answer.

depending on pipe size and if you had a stoppage that was completely plugged.

the root ranger has poor penetrating power due to no front jet or too small a front jet depending on model. but it out pulls a warthog and out cleans a warthog gallon for gallon.

so if the line is flowing, then a root ranger.

if it's plugged, then a warthog. but not necessarily the 1/2''. probably the 3/8'' wt. less water and smaller 3/8'' hose.

but for smaller jetters, nothing beats a root ranger.

Good info there. Probably should just get both.

I picked 1/2" because he has 18gpm and 4k psi.
