    I just got one out at a nuke plant security guard locker room using a corded impact wrench. It had a 1.5" 6 point stud. It was under the finished floor. I wouldn't have got it off without the impact wrench.

      If it were me and there was alot of effort getting an c.o. plug out of an old galvanized drain I'd cut it all out and replace it in plastic.

        Sometimes you just pretend that cleanout isn't even there an pull the trap.

            I spray it with PB Max then use a chisel put a little notch in the cap then hit it a few times like your making it tighter then hit it like to loosen it up, and keep doing that kind of like a tap and die cutting threads If you use heat remember that heat expands so keep the cap cool you don't want to expand it.
