That's what the spec sheet says. The K-1500 is a powerful machine.

I own the K-1500 Sp and the K-60.I do like the smaller machine for certain jobs, especially rooftops. However, there are many root blockages here in Ohio that are just too much for the K-60.I will always keep one on the truck though.I also use a drum machine for tight spaces.

Ive always preferred to use my spartan 1065.I can only count a few times where it wouldnt open up a line due to distance. But like every other machine it has its limits. No rooftops (u can run the cable up the ladder but theres to much slack) The sectionals are good for outside or rooftops but makes a mess in a basement. In our field , we have to have it all to be a complete shop.Every machine has its purpose. I own six machines.Spartan 1065, (2) pistol rods 5/16" &3/8" , spartan 100 with 13/16" ,a small general with 1/2" ,&electric eel 1&1/4" cables with a hole hawg (havent used the drill yet) and a water ram.Just depending on what you're doing that day, &drain cleaning is a small part of my business.
