  • Ridgid KJ3100 Jetter persure

We have a Ridgid 3100 jetter when we run just off a hose the PSI is 3000. When we run it off a hose and 35 gal holding tank the psi is 1500. If we shut the valve going to the tank the psi will jump back up to 3000. We use the tank when we are on wells that have a low gpm. The pressure drop when using the tank happens even if the well is 5.5 gpm or more. Is this normal?

some pumps require a minimum inlet pressure. also what size is your tank to pump hose. is the strainer clean?

you might need a small inline booster pump.

Both hoses are 3/4. But I need to check to tee, I'm not sure of it's size. Maybe our tank to pump hose is to long, I'll measure that tomorrow. Thanks.
