it came from LifeLock so pretty sure they know what they are talking about. I had them do a scan on me and this came up and was the only thing that came up.

That may be true but I don't know who ridgidforumS.com (with an S) is.

It is registered by someone, but that domain name is NOT the domain where this forum resides.

It might have something to do with RIDGID or TTI or this forum, I don't know either way.

IIRC there was an security issue years ago here, and the forum Admins took steps to secure it.

Here is one recent thread where they claimed to be tightening security settings.

If you remember not long ago (11/04/20, I just looked it up) I posted that I had reached out to Forum Admins.
The email was not about site security or spammers but I have to this day not heard anything back from anyone
which tells me they don't care too much about this place or they are too busy with other things to worry about us.
I have no idea who is monitoring the forum now or how often or if the regular Admins are even still employed there.

As far as your particular situation I hope you have changed passwords on this and other sites, esppecially if you
use the same pass word on more than one site.

If you would like to check how strong your password is here is a site that claims to not capture any data.
You CAN NOT enter a passwod on the site, only the number of variables that would make up the pasword,
and form that it calculates how long it would take to crack. Notice it's how long, no IF. All passwords can
be cracked, just some take much longer than others.

Just to give you an idea the password I use for this forum is 19 characters long and a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters.

Yea I dont know anything other then someone filed an unemployment claim in my name and had the right SS# so I signed up for lifelock and that was the only thing that came up. We live in crazy times with everything out there for anyone to grab at any time!
