  • Bought a K-60, now what?

Hi, I just bought a used K-60 for $280 and it seems to be in great shape. It didn't come with a guild hose or cable, but I only plan on using this on mainline roof jobs, so do I need a guide hose? What kind of cable should I buy? Should I buy the regular Ridgid cable or intercore cable?? What about maintenance? Thanks for any help. Tom

Rick worked with me for a long time to help me understsand each of these and their pro's and con's.So the credit for this list goes to him.
I got a couple heads that I really did not need because I wanted a few extra adapters for redundant cutters and putting other manufactures on them.

I already had 75' and a carrier of 7/8".I had to buy 75' more to have the neccessary 150'.My extra 75 is in a extra wide Dunlop MtrC.

I have been advised(yes,Spaz again) to get the General cage for the 5/8" cable.Right now I'm carring it in a slightly used Pirelli "Diablo" Strada 120-70 ZR17

The forum helped me so now I can pass it on to you.

      Good luck

Dude...I see you watching us on "Who's Online"
          Why don't you tell me?

Besides, your stating the obvious.Everyone knows how slow I am.

And for the record it was only an hour(or so) with the pet, history channel and almost a whole bag of sour skittles.

I just got in from a friends. We are getting BOMBED with sleet here currently. Wasn't even watching you struggle with your index fingers.

That would be a good class for you to take believe it or not. Any small business person can benefit greatly from a typing class.

Thanks for that list. Gonna' print it for myself.

Can someone tell me what all is included in the below listed kit from Ferguson. Looking to get the best kit for my money. I have a K60 that I use mainly on appartment cleanouts that are mainly 4"diameter pipe to main line. I use 7/8 cable and need some new cutter heads.
