        yes and no

we have 6'' sewer laterals that we're responsible for. the innercore gives it stiffnes so it doesn't turn around. the outer cable is the same and gives it strength.

personally i always use ridgid c-10 inner core for the first 15' on my 3-6'' c/o. on 1.5'' and 2'' access i use open wind.

really depends on the job conditions and track record.

i use my k-60 7/8'' machine 90% of the time and my tiberwolf 1.25'' 10% of the time.

there are times a 7/8'' cable is not the choice.

will you go up two stories to clean a main line if you could not remove an old clean out or would you pull a toilet ?

I ask these questions because you guys have a totally different approach to drain cleaning than what i learned.

not if i have to climb an extension ladder.

built in ladders are fine and so are roof hatches. just extension ladders beyond 16' are my limits.

i've jumped from airplanes and have bungy jumped from bridges with a cord around my ankles.

climibing flexible ladders is not for me

16' extension ladder is what i keep in my truck. my little giant and i go back to the mid 70's

i carry the k-60 up the ladder with 1 hand and hold the ladder with the other

I had that condensate job on a flat roof and I tied rope to the machine ,cable bail, and bucket with tools and just pulled it all up and then lowered it all down when i was done
