What cutters are recommended for the K-60 in 5/8" and 7/8" ?

    k-60

the 5/8 is not going to be used on roots, so there are some differences for my picks.

the bulb head t-202 or 203, drop head t-217, straight auger t-201, and 4 blade cutter t-213 or 214. 215 i feel is too big for the 5/8'', are all must haves.

the spiral saw t-207,208,209 is also reserved for the 7/8'' t-111

the funnel auger t-206 is an option i would save for the 7/8'' = t102.

also the sharktooth t-150-1 and 150-2 are for the 7/8''.

remember i see more roots than most locations.

make sure to get at least 1 section of 7/8'' c-10 innercore c-10ic. this you run in the front position when doing heavy cutting and 4''-6'' pipe.

Since you're buying the package deal, I would also get these additional blades:

      Spiral saw blade- 1 3/4, 2 1/2, 3
      4 bladed cutter- 1 3/4, 2 1/2, 3 1/2

I would buy replacement blades and simply change them out as you'll have all the holders you need.

      For 5/8:
      4 bladed cutter- 1, 1 3/8, 1 3/4

I really haven't been using my sharktooth blade, wouldn't even bother with them. I also don't even use my 5/8 bulb auger or dropead. I start out with the 1" four bladed cutter as my initial blade.

Everyone puts the bend on the end of the cable so the blade scrapes the sides better. What I prefer is to have a bend in the middle of the cable. This causes the entire cable to jump around and clean better.
      Buy cheap, buy twice.

Don't forget the trap leader for the 7/8" cable!

I have never had a use for a 7/8" trap leader. I run the 7/8" general innercore though a trap no problem.

My cable wont go through a 3" cast iron trap without it. Use mine almost every trip.

my cable went through a 2'' trap, just couldn't get it back out without taking off the auger

who knew the roof drain was a 2'' line with a trap when it's plugged up
