  • Only one machine for the job

    This is a 4" c/o leading to a 6" clay main.

Another plumber said he would have to pull the vanity at the cost of $125.00 to cable the drain for $139.00 Thats a total of $264.00. Which is fine, thats a professional wage around here but............

The k-60 does the job for $149.00 total! No vanity pulling needed. Again its the finest all around drain machine! Total job time start to finish 1 hour. The job even was complete with a stool.

i stopped using the ugly gloves on the sectional as the high speed tends to overheat them. i switched over to the $1.50 leather gloves. tend to wear out the left and operate the clutch with the right.

need to find a lefty to swap gloves with.

as you can see, i'm not the only k-60 praiser. i might lead you to the water, but it's up to you to drink

Rick is dead on. The k-60 will burn them gloves up fast!

I honestly don't keep track of gloves and their specific purpose worth a darn. Use whatever with the sectional cable.

If I have a glove that feels too "grippy" or the machine might wear, a little soap & water on the cable hand works very well to decrease friction and increase life of the gloves.

Soap in the bathroom, spray you might have for cables, or whatever.

That was the only cleanout. I was lucky to find that one.

I wouldn't have any problem wheeling my K7500 into that bathroom to access the cleanout. Plus, I wouldn't have half the headache involved with connecting, disconnecting, etc.

I've had a 7500 sitting in my garage for over two years now.I stripped it down and painted her up.Now it just sits. Not used once.
Between sinks, floor drains and main lines out to 150' I've not needed to go back home to pick up the K-7500.

I've got a buddy that does a couple trailer parks
That's where this machine belongs.Either that or a drain only specialist.
Their ain't no room on a full scope plumbers rig.Not if he's doing const. as well.

I would have to agree with drtyhands, I've been using the K-60 over the 1500 a bit more. I tend to leave the 1500 off the truck unless I have a known nasty root offender lined up. Otherwise, the 60 sit just inside the back door with the cable carrier hanging off the side of my shelving. Almost like the K-60 was made for that space on my truck.

Pulled out some roots yesterday with mine made $240 . May be going up against some drum boys tomorrow! Two different guys have been out with drums to clean out a line with roots one broke off his cable and the other when in with a spearhead tool and say they can't get it open and are telling the guy he needs to dig. But I heard nothing about a camera being used or coming back with mud. I have never had a root stoppage that could not be cleaned . But then again I have only been at this for eleven years?
