  • Mixing Innercore cable with no core cable?

Just ordered 75 feet of the General 7/8 inner core this will handle 98% of my residential sewers. If I run into a 90 or 100 foot run any problems running the regular Ridgid 7/8 last? Any balance problems spinning or stress on the last two sections of Ridgid 7/8 cable?
Ran into my first 6 inch sewer today with the K60 and I can see what you guy's mean the cable will want to flip in the 6 inch sewer. I could have used the drill and eel but I'm forcing myself to use the k60 more to master it faster.

Charging less does not mean more call volume it just means you have to work harder to reach your goals.

I run 1 section innercore first then regular wind, if I do hit something real bad that is tweaking the regular 7/8, I will switch in another section of innercore as the last section being spun by the k-60

i run 75' of innercore and then maybe one or two lenghts of regular open wound cable. I try not to go more than that with the k-60. 75' of innercore and 30' of openwound seems to be a safe working load on the machine. The eel does most of my work over 100'.

I have run 135' of cable with the k-60. The 1st 75' were innercore and the other 60' were reg open wound. The machine was pushed to the limit that day. It worked but it was a struggle to keep power.

Although 75' of IC will fit in a general reel, the weight will make you pull out your back.
