  • K-60 standing

Had a basement cleanout that was almost 4' from the floor. This is an adjustable folding table I use for situations like this. Very handy. This was a good job for the K-60 because the stairs were less than 24" wide. The roots were so bad I had to use the 1 3/4" cutter first then the 3" sharktooth.

Hey kol, since you have a 1500 and a k60, which one do you prefer?
    Buy cheap, buy twice.

K-1500 for sure. It cuts up the roots faster.

Here is another job where I had to do a drain outside a basement window in the window well.

I'd love to get a K1500 to put up against my Model C or Drill and Eel and see how they compare. The K60 has proved to be a very useful machine to me, K1500 would be nice to add. Thinking a bigger jetter would be a better addition to my collection though.

I have a little giant ladder that is adjustable height and have set the k60 on the top rung strapped down with a ratchet strap. In the "A" frame mode, it will adjust from 4'-8' tall. A milk crate will give you some added height from the floor, so does a city trash can . Nice thing is the k60 is light enough to position anywhere.

Another trick is to turn the machine around and use the rear as the front. Then you can attach a front guide hose to the machine and contain the sectional cable. 1.5" pvc flex bands onto the nose of the machine. And 1" hdpe will also slip into the nose. Its pretty easy to adapt a guide hose.

                Home made.
I did a job where the machine was far from the cleanout and the cable wrapped up my hand. So I decided I needed to get the machine closer to the cleanout. Cleanout's are at many different height's so I made it with adjustable legs. The table for the reel can attach on any of the four sides.
