  • Start Capacitor for Sears Table Saw?

I have a 10" 1.5 hp Sears Craftsman table saw Model 113.298761 and I need the start capacitor, the original one blew up and i cant see any info on it so I have no idea what the MFD is, looks like it was made completely of paper. Size approx. 1 7/16" diameter and 3 11/32" height. Sears just says i need to buy new motor. I know the saw was made by Emerson Electric for Sears. The Run Capacitor brand is an Aerovox (2305288002)(B)(Z23P3715M). Any advice will be greatly appreciated! I just hate to have to buy a new motor when I just need a capacitor.

Take the motor to any repair shop and they will be able to give you the right cap. My local guy has more used parts on the shelf than he has space for and usually gives the parts away to promote word of mouth advertising
