  • old two wires cable

Can I reuse old two wires without ground cable? It is not that old, probably 10 yrs old. It is in good condition in my view. it is for my old gas boiler power.

If it is 120 volt and to be inspected, replace it with properly rated 2 wire with ground and if it is not to be inspected and not too difficult, why not do it right . At least run a ground wire to it.

If it is 240 volt, you must replace it with 2 wires and a ground and if the boiler has any 120 volt device in it, then you must run 4 wire that has L1, L2, Neutral and a ground.
