  • Voltage drop chart??

    Does anyone have a chart they can post showing length/gage of wire(romex,etc)with corresponding voltage drops?

    There is no such chart that exists, for different voltages there are different voltage drop totals.

    There IS however a mathmatical formula for predicting how much voltage will drop for a given guage of wire, amperage load on the circuit, and length of the circuit.

    For single phase: Vd = (2K (Specific resistance) x L (Length) x I (Current)) / Cm (Circular mils, not AWG, but actual measure)

    Where K = 12.9 for copper @ 75 degrees F
