  • Baseboard heating - line voltage t-stat

Can a 220V line voltage thermostat be wired at the end of the run? If so, how. I would like to bring power to the heater and then have the tstat at the end of the run. Thanks,

Yes, but normally you would bring a 2 wire 240v feed circuit to the T stat and then a 2 wire feed to the heater. However, you want to bring the feed to the heater first. So to do that you "should" then bring a 2 wire switch leg to the T stat and then a 2 wire switch leg feed back to the heater. Not a good idea to break only one leg. I would opt to bring the circuit first to the T stat and then to the heater if possible.
