  • Generator tripping house GFCI

I bought a used 6800 generator. Whenever I try to plug-in the trickle charger it keeps popping my houses GFCI. Not sure what the problem is I’m thinking may be just a bad battery but don’t know why that would pop the breaker.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's the charger that's at fault. Or possibly the GFI is bad, they don't last forever.
